Highly recommend! Came out the next day and put in a new unit, they work quickly and everything works great! Best price we could find.?

Called on Thursday at the first sign my A/C wasn't cooling. Spoke to the owner who was super helpful. My A/C had been worked on a handful of times last year so I was able to give a basic run down of what I knew. He was able to diagnose it over the phone but assured me that if it was something else, they would find it. The earliest they could get me in was Monday afternoon as the first warm day had just hit and they had a lot of calls. They had excellent communication the whole time and were extremely prompt. Tommy was my tech and he was above and beyond nice. Being a single woman and head of my household, when I have service techs come out to fix things I ask if they mind if I shadow them and ask questions because I do my best to try to understand how the things in my house work (i.e. A/C, septic, plumbing, etc). Not once did Tommy act like I was in the way or annoyed. He answered all my questions throughly and never made me feel dumb or "mansplained" things to me. The actual total was less than estimated due to my refrigerant not being as low as expected. They could've charged me the quoted price anyway and I wouldn't have been the wiser but they didn't. Competition A/C is a real family business local to Hays County that takes pride in their trade. The hard work, thorough communication, integrity and affordability they provided me today definitely gained them a new customer.

Competition A/C & Heating is by far the best. They are on time, knowledgeable, and above all they are HONEST. We have tried others, but Tommy Young and his crew are simply the best. They ARE the “competition”!!! My recommendation could not be higher.
